• Upright, fast-growing shrub with pleasant fragrance
• Grows up to 13 ft tall and 7 ft wide
• Pink to purple flowers in winter and spring
• Insects and hummingbirds attracted to flowers. Fruit and seed eating birds attracted to berries
• Grows in moist soil with moderate drainage but also drought-tolerant
• Will grow in full sun but often favors part shade
