Dichelostemma congestum

• Perennial herb 3.6 inches tall, full sun part shade
• Tall, thin, naked stem is topped with a flower cluster packed densely with six to 15 flowers
• Flowers are blue, lavender, purple and bloom in the spring
• Attracts butterflies
• Requires good drainage
• Native to the hills and mountains, found in open grassy slopes
