The Sacramento Weed Warriors project is currently involved in several environmental stewardship projects, often being implemented in partnership with other local organizations. These organizations conduct a variety of community service activities, some throughout the year. Please visit the web sites that are noted below.

Several of the events listed indicate the primary organization of the volunteer team.  However, most of these events are open to other interested participants. Frank prepares a detailed flyer for each event including directions to the work site and the work involved.  These are usually distributed to volunteers by email.

               Sesbania eradication work groups, primarily along Steelhead Creek and the lower Robla Creek

               Wetlands in the north Sacramento area, will be conducted periodically throughout this period.

               Specific events have not yet been scheduled at this time.  These will be posted as they are

               scheduled, usually at least 3-4 weeks in advance of an event.

               If you are a member of an organization, such as a business, church, youth group, or school,

               please contact Frank to discuss how your group might schedule a workgroup event specifically

               for your organization..
